Gimmee gimmee poetry and stories!

When I first thought of starting 'i think i love you michigan', one of the things I wanted to do with it was highlight the lesser-known (or unknown) poetry and short fiction writers of the area. That hasn't really happened yet. Let's change that. If you're reading this and you are a writer, send me something. Please.

Here are the submission guidelines:
1) Must be relatively short.
2) Must be about and/or set in Michigan OR written by someone from Michigan (past or present resident)
3) I must like it. So that means no slam or spoken word poetry, no poetry about jazz, no poetry about genitalia, and no poetry about the US government. I'm picky. Sorry.
